Standard Great Eastern - Black

Handcrafted in our South Devon workshop, this day bag is made from a black semi-aniline black leather.  This Italian leather has natural texture which adds a slightly 'worn in' look.

The 'Great Eastern' fastens with a substantial solid brass saddlery clip, allowing for easy, yet secure access.  The sides feature press studs to allow the bag to expand along the top line.

The bag has a firm base with solid brass studs to protect the underside from wear and tear.

A prominent feature is the rolled handles which are fixed onto solid brass saddlery 'O' rings.  These have been expertly hand stitched to provide maximum strength and comfort.  Additionally, there is  a detachable, adjustable belt style shoulder strap to allow the bag to  be worn cross body.

The bag is lined with black cotton twill and features a large leather open pocket.
